Instructions:
Play That Note uses note recognition technology and is designed to take you through the notes of your instrument's first scale.

You need to be able to play in-tune before the note recognition technology can work properly. So, pianists should be fine, guitarists need to learn to tune their instrument, woodwind and brass players need to perfect their embrasure and string players will need to be able to place their fingers accurately.

It is very important you have a teacher who can show you how to treat your instrument with respect and make sure you are playing correctly, safely, using the right fingering and not picking up bad techniques that will be hard to correct in the future. 

Always make sure your instrument is in tune before you start. If you are out-of-tune, you will find this game frustrating. Fortunately, Toonr is on hand to help. Just tap on him to wake him up and tap again when you want to get on with the exercise.

Tips:
1) You have as much time as you need, before you play the first note, to scan ahead and practice what you are going to play in your head.

2) To get Gold you have to play all the notes in less than about one second per note.

3) Slower than that and you will get a Silver. If you are very slow you will get Bronze.
